Have you adopted a dog from a local shelter within the last 6 months? Then this program applies to you...

Tails A Waggin Training has teamed up with local shelters and is now offering a variety of classes for you and your new family member. These basic beginner obedience and agility classes really do help the homeless pets at the various shelters in which your new family member came from.

The Facts: All classes are held at the Tails A Waggin Training Facility, just a short drive away in Marysville Ohio. Sessions are 5 weeks long and are just $55.00! That's the price of a large bag of dog food! These classes are taught by instructors with several years of experience in positive reinforcement.

80% of all proceeds go straight back for the care and welfare of your shelter's current residents.
Yes that's right, $44.00 goes straight to the shelter, $11.00 goes to Tails A Waggin to pay for the utilities.

Mind Your Manners: Learn about positive reinforcement training and teach your dog behaviors like: sit, down, stay, and polite leash walking.

Beginner Agility: This class is for true agility beginners! Learn to use basic agility equipment and strengthen the bond between you and your dog!

Puppy Play Time: This class is for puppies under the age of 5 months and is designed to help socialize, as well as learn the basics of positive reinforcement. A "MUST attend" class for all puppies!

On the first night of class, please bring the following:

  • ALL dogs must be up-to-date on their shots! Please bring copies of vaccination records
  • A flat buckled collar (NO choke-chains!!)
  • 4-6 ft. nylon leash
  • comfortable gym shoes
  • LOTS of rewarding, yummy, bite sized treats.  Two to three varieties work best and/or their favorite toy!
